Another sociopath takes a dirt nap

The victim could have been any unarmed citizen in California; unfortunately for this SOB it was an off-duty cop that was — fortunately — carrying concealed… one dirt nap coming right up!
[Shaun Adam] Vilan, who was on parole after spending six years in state prison for two assaults, had a lengthy history of ganging up on people and attacking them, according to court records. His convictions included two unprovoked assaults in 1996 and 1998, which involve Vilan smashing two people in the face with beer bottles.
…And on and on and on (more incidents listed in the article).

Shaun, I hope you and Jesus had it all worked out.

Graffiti, Taggers and other Abominations

Seattle Times did a terrific bit on just what it costs you and me in local tax dollars to keep our locales clean of the scrawlings made by the worm-ridden filth among us:

“The effort is expensive. Seattle Public Utilities spent about $1 million last year for graffiti enforcement, removal, education and outreach, while King County Metro Transit spent $734,000 last year to rid buses, tunnels, park and rides and bus shelters of graffiti.

It’s hard for officials to talk with any certainty about graffiti trends. Because so many city agencies deal with it, no one keeps a centralized database of complaints.

And there are a lot.

Seattle Public Utilities has averaged about 7,300 a year since 2008, said Linda Jones, manager of the graffiti-rangers team. Some are divvied up among the six rangers. The rest are handed off to other city agencies…”

So, they do it for the cheap thrills, the notoriety among other tagging SOBs, and in some cases, apparently, to feed their “addiction”.  Some never outgrow it.

The only thing that will stop these individuals is swift justice (jail, fines) and hundreds to thousands of hours of hard community service/labor.  I could think of some more violent measures, too, but I’m happy to leave those off the table for maximum, lawful penalties.

One advantage of unemployment

I get to avoid crap like this in downtown Seattle…

I have the greatest sympathy for people who come here in order to find work, work hard, and desire the liberty America offers.  However, I do not tolerate it of those who are here illegally.  There has to be order to the system and respect given to those who have followed our laws and are now naturalized citizens.  And there has to be better enforcement on the border… not nationalized health care and government bailouts for private companies.  What we have now is not only chaos, it is anarchy.  And it is being tolerated by many citizens and the state.

As for the anti-war protesters… meh. I’ve developed some differing opinions about the war, but I am unsure of the effectiveness of this demonstration of yours… except that, like the May Day march, it’s going to piss off thousands of commuters.  Although, having observed downtown work patterns for years, most people will either work from home, take the day off, or simply get out of town early.  This means the number of eyeballs on the demonstrations will be further reduced.  Brilliant, eh?

OBAMACORN B&E, Tresspassing Update

1obacornlog003Michelle Malkin gets down to the facts of the case regarding Donna A. Hanks’ foreclosure…

Here is what the MSM won’t be telling you about the so-called “victim” in that case, ACORN worker Donna Hanks — all based on public records and court documents.

According to real property data search information, Hanks bought the two-story home in the summer of 2001 for $87,000. At some point in the next five years, she re-financed the original home loan for $270,000.

Question: Where did all that money go?

The house initially went into foreclosure proceedings in the spring of 2006. In July 2006, Hanks filed for bankruptcy and agreed to a Chapter 13 plan which was served to the following creditors: Americas Servicing Co, Bank Of America, Chase, Covahey, Boozer, Devan & Dore, and Discover. She agreed to repay $10,500 in arrears, which resulted in a halt to the 2006 foreclosure.
In September 2006, the bankruptcy court ordered Hanks’ employer to deduct $340/month from her salary as a bartender to pay down the debt (total net monthly take home pay of $1,228)

Hanks’ Schedule I showed additional monthly income of $1,625 for a second and third claimed jobs, plus pro-rated tax refund income.

Hanks did not comply with the plan. In December 2007, the servicer issued a notice of default on nearly $7,000 past due.
In February 2008, Baltimore City Circuit Court records show a second foreclosure action was filed.

She had two years to pay what she owed. She failed to comply.

When she told local TV station WJZ that her evil bank raised her mortgage by $300 (”The mortgage went up $300 in one month”), she’s talking about the amount in arrears that she agreed to pay back.

And then there’s the illegal rent money collected for letting out her basement and other charges of theft and assault.

She’s a real winner, Folks, and would never give the media the a false story.  I still can’t get over that refinance figure.  Where, indeed, did that money go?

Anyway, this is where the administration will be funneling your tax dollars soon: foreclosure “victims” like Donna and “community organizations” like ACORN.

Please, can we all get just a little angry and motivated to call our representatives now?  I knew you could.

OBAMACORN at work, breaking and entering

1obacornlog003ACORN “trains” citizens to “protest” home foreclosures… in other words, demonstrating breaking & entering techniques and committing criminal trespass.  Notice the complete lack of back story on the so-called “foreclosure victim”…

A community organization breaks into a foreclosed home in what they are calling an act of civil disobedience.

The group wants to train homeowners facing eviction on peaceful ways they can remain in their homes.

Peaceful… right.

And on Thursday afternoon, they literally broke the foreclosure padlock right off the front door and then broke into the house, letting Hanks back in for the first time in months.

We are actually trespassing, and so this is a way of civil disobedience to try to stay in the house,” said Beverly. “Legally it’s wrong, but homesteading is the only means that she has left to stay in her house. And we feel as though this is the right thing to do at this particular time to save this family.”

Inside, there’s spray paint on the walls and evidence that someone has possibly been remodeling.

The group says it was staging similar demonstrations in six other cities nationwide while urging a moratorium on foreclosures.  They want that until President Obama’s stimulus plan begins on March 4. The plan is designed to help threatened homeowners.

“As you all can see, Donna is reclaiming her home, and she’s putting a lock on her door at this time,” said Beverly.

It’s not until the end of the report that we find out that the home is already in other, private hands!

Okay, how pissed would you be if you were a responsible adult and had just purchased this home?

The “predatory lending” accusation is a red herring.  The previous owner made the CHOICE to either purchase or refinance this home.  And if the mortgage rose that much in one month, she probably either had a sub-prime loan or an ARM.

This is getting out of hand.  I would hope the governments in these cities would charge ARCORN as a criminal enterprise and kick them out, but that’s never going to happen, not with the new HOPE and CHANGE sweeping the country.

This is a threat to private ownership of property and business everywhere and it’s just the beginning.  This will get worse before it gets better…. and only if we stand up to organizations like this and say ENOUGH!

N.C. Teacher verbally abuses student who supports McCain

Quality public education in action…

Watch her bully a little girl who dares to answer “McCain” when asked who she supports for president. The child is the daughter of a soldier. Watch the teacher mock the girl and her father (”So that mean yo’ daddy could stay in Iraq for another hundred years!”). Watch the little girl’s eyes well up in tears. Is this the kind of education reform Barack Obama advocates?

Election sign chuckle

Hilarious: 9-year-old kid bent on replacing a guy’s McCain signs with Obama signs doesn’t realize that the owner has gotten sick of his signs getting stolen, and has rigged a low voltage wire to the signposts and is recording the whole thing on hidden camera.  Let’s watch!

(original video source here)

Story here:

After Shawn Turschak saw two sets of McCain-Palin signs disappear from his yard within hours of being planted, he took steps to protect the latest pair.

On Monday, he ran wires from his house and hooked the signs into a power source for an electric pet fence. Then he mounted a surveillance camera in a nearby tree and wired it to a digital recorder.

Tuesday afternoon, the camera saw this: A neighbor trotting up with an Obama-Biden sign, grabbing a handful of volts as he touched a McCain-Palin sign, then fleeing at top 9-year-old boy speed.
“This isn’t about politics,” he said. “This is about my right to protect my property and my ability to display my beliefs.”

It gets better:

The boy’s father, Andrew Noble, upset that his son had been shocked, showed up at Turschak’s door. Soon an Orange County sheriff’s deputy also showed up at the Turschak’s home.

Noble said his son just wanted to see how the sign was put together. Turschak said the boy intended to swap out the signs.

Nice try, “Dad.” How’s about returning the sign you sent your son to steal?
